• 1978: Birth of the first child after artificial insemination by donor (AID).

• July 1987: Birth of the first baby in Spain as a result of embryo freezing.

• November 1988: Birth of the first baby in Spain as a result of egg donation (twins).

• December 1990: Birth of the first baby in Spain as a result of micro-injection (PZD: partial zona dissection).
