Their goal is to perform at least 50 surgeries for the most common gynaecological conditions affecting African women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is led by Elisa Beltrame, in collaboration with the Dexeus Mujer Foundation and the Jean-F\u00e9licien Gacha Foundation. Our team includes <strong>Dr Pere Barri Soldevila, Dr Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Melc\u00f3n and Dr N\u00faria Barbany<\/strong>, as well as three fourth-year gynaecology residents: Dr Berta Cort\u00e9s, Dr Eugenia Morillo and Dr Clara Plat\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our medical team will be volunteering their time, but they need to raise funds to cover their travel expenses and the cost of transporting all the medical equipment and supplies.
