Dexeus Mujer offers an exclusive service dedicated to women’s health in a spacious facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology at the new Viamed Hospital of Tarragona.
This service is the result of a strategic agreement with Viamed Salud to offer private, specialised, high-quality care to patients in the province of Tarragona and its surrounding area.
The aim of Dexeus Mujer is to replicate the Barcelona healthcare model in Tarragona in order to offer high-quality medical care for women’s health in the region, so that patients do not have to travel to Barcelona for gynaecological check-ups, pregnancy monitoring, surgery or assisted reproduction treatment.
Dexeus Mujer is a reference centre and pioneer in Spain in assisted reproduction techniques, with more than 80 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of fertility problems, we offer you the most advanced treatments and personalised attention.
The first Spanish test-tube baby (in vitro fertilisation) was born in our clinic (1984) and Spain’s first egg donation treatment was carried out here, which culminated in the birth of twins (1988).

25% of our patients have a history of treatment failure in other clinics. However, our success rate is around 45-55% at the first attempt, with an overall cumulative rate of around 80%.
