Microneedling: treatment for menopause
Microneedling has been referred to for several years as one of the most effective minimally invasive techniques for treating cosmetic imperfections, but what actually is microneedling? Which areas can be treated? What substances are applicable using this technique? Read on to find out what microneedling is all about.

At our clinic we provide you with a wide range of cosmetic medicine treatments, using specific techniques such as microneedling. This is a minimally invasive technique that consists of using a wireless device that can be used to treat different aesthetic concerns. This device generates micro channels in the skin and allows for the topical application of active ingredients, i.e. thanks to the action of microneedles, microperforations are created on the skin that allow the penetration of topical products to be increased. This synergy between the action of the microneedles and the active ingredients used causes biostimulation, which improves the effectiveness and maximises the results of the treatment.

The microneedling technique can be applied in multiple areas of the face and body. On the face, neckline and hands, it treats hyperpigmentation, vascularisation, lack of skin vitality, flaccidity and wrinkles. On the scalp it slows down hair loss and improves hair quality. On the body it treats flaccidity in the arms, abdomen and legs, and combats localised fat and cellulite in love handles, double chin, abdominal fat, knees and legs.

There are 2 types of topical products applicable using the microneedling technique:

  • Monosubstances: they are individually applied with a draining and detoxifying action, stimulating synthesis of collagen, antioxidant action, anti-hair loss, moisturising and anti-ageing, etc.
  • Mixes of active substances: they contain the amount of active substances needed with depigmenting, anti-ageing, facial tightening, draining, body mobilising and body firming actions.
